Contextual inquiry continued…

The group created some provocative messages and placed them on the board at the market place to see how people would react. The respond was excellent. People stopped and started to chat with us, encouraged by these messages.

We were disappointment when we went back to the market place and discussed with the sellers if they would like to provide written message to buyers and the respond was negative. They were very skeptical and negative while we have presented our idea. It was the time to change the strategy.

The next step for us was to get into the context, to become a part of this complex society.

In the research the conclusion was that the buyers want to be attracted by written signs, but sellers were against providing it.

In the market administration office we had explained our position, the research we had carried out in the market and our observations. With their permission we decided to create an environment in which we would take the role of the sellers and attract buyers.

In the afternoon this prototype/probe had to be built.
