Evaluation in Situ
The preparation and the installation of the prototype were pretty easy, because it was very simple and low teak.
For the day testing whit the kids we just dug a whole in the sand and placed a microphone in the whole along whit the caterpillar which was made out of aluminum tubing. Then we just plugged the microphone in the laptop and waited for the kids so we can start recording.
In the night test we dug ten wholes and placed little flashlights which we cowered whit plastic cups, so only the top (or the bottom off the cups where visible, because we turned them up side down). Then we buried a speaker in the centre and dug a row for the cable which we plugged into a MP3 player.
