Introduction
Beach "Firule" is a 240m long beach in Split with concrete pier that is no longer in use, small sand part and long narrow promenade. It's close to the city center and has very pleasant microclimate. The only thing that offers for their visitors beside the sun and the sea are two coffee places. It's very popular gathering place for families with small children during the morning and for teenager at night. There is one shower that works only during summer and few blue hooks (hangers) that we found very interesting because there are used not only to hang thing but also for playing. The beach remained in tacked during years.
We start to gather information. We interviewed lots of people, and we found out lots of interesting and useful information's. We also collected all kinds of objects from the beach, so that we can use them later as a reminder of the place. Then we had a relaxed coffee in a bar overlooking the place and we started a very loud discussion...
After we came back we tried to write down as many observations as possible, everything that we find out about the beach, and everything that we saw, or heard, or experienced there. We wrote each observation down on its own on small papers and stuck on the wall. Then we separated the most important ones and we came to the conclusion that we have different users (most of the people are frequent, many of them come every day. All of them are locals. Some live in the neighborhood, some drive from different parts of city. There are parents with children, retired people, sportsmen, teenagers...), activities (kids playing in sand, parents chatting on the benches, jogging, teenagers drinking...), interesting atmosphere ( it is an environment for itself. It is cozy, well-organized universe where any interruption is recognized and commented on) and many others.
